The Darkest Hours Undead Experience (title pending)

So I have some incredible news! Jack and I went to this amazing new theater in Anaheim. It's at the Gardenwalk. Now this theater is the first in Orange County to have a special 21 and over section. You can also buy beer and wine to enjoy during your movie.

But that's not why we are excited. No. Personally, I wouldn't purchase alcohol to watch a movie, but hey there's all different kinds of folks out there.

So we watched Coraline, which by the way was an excellent movie! We were so impressed with how nice the theater was, and we both had a brainstorm.

We talked about it for a little bit and then Jack went to go and talk to the manager last night. Jack is now the horror host for the theater!

The theater apparently had wanted to do something of this nature for a while, but couldn't find anyone in their ranks to take the reins. So Jack going in and talking to them was a sheer stroke of luck.

The theater said they will do all promotions inside the theater, we just have to take care of outside. Such as My Space, the website, Twitter, emails, that kind of thing. They asked him, do you think you can sell out a theater?

Well, yes. The people that watch our show are hungry for any horror especially when it's not October. So if we were to show the original Dracula or Monster Squad or Evil Dead or the original Hellraiser, those seats would be filled.

Here's the only issue. There are so many movies to choose from. If you had to pick, what horror/sci-fi movie would you want to see on the big screen? It could be a serious or spoof. We are going to post a poll on Jack's Myspace as well.

We will have the showing in the 21 and over section, so there would be no worries about crying children or them running all over the theater. We would not encourage buying alcohol, but we cannot control what others do. The only thing we would ask the audience is to be polite and respectful of the theater.

We are hoping to start this in March. So help us pick a movie YOU'D like to see!

Oh, and we are going to show Repo! at some point, but that will be a separate event.

Well if you would have had Hellraiser as an option in the poll I would have chosen that one. That movie scared the pants off of me as a kid. I couldn't be in a dark room for weeks.

You know what's funny about that is I wrote this poll before Jack told me what movies he was going to choose from.

Hellraiser is one of them.

I guess I'll have to change the poll to the ones he has.

I ALSO WOULD HAVE PICKED HELLRAISER, BUT THE ORIGINAL FRANKENSTEIN WOULDN'T BE TOO BAD EITHER (IT'S ALIVE, ALIVE!)OH, AND HOW ABOUT YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO LAUGH?
