It's been far too long...

So I know I kind of left this blog on the wayside. Sorry about that.

I am going to try to get back on track with it. A TON of things have happened. Of course..since I haven't posted since back in DEC!

But to catch everyone up, we got a new apt, Alex got a job, Jack and I are getting married in October (for sure this time) and we have 2 adorable cats named Vash and Boris.

Life has thrown us a few curveballs, but as we always say, "We're a team, and we'll make it work."

I'll do my best to stay on top of this. I at least owe it to my sister so she knows I'm not dead. -laughs-

Hello out there in Blog world!

Today we went to the doctor with my poor Keith man. Or as we affectionately call him now "Nubs". His finger looks way better than it did. Well, maybe to some people.

Here's what it looked like at his last appt. about 3 weeks ago.

Still pretty raw there. Keith was hiding under his jacket 'cause he didn't want to see it.

But today he says, "Guess what Mom, I think you'll be really surprised at how much it's healed."

So we take off the gauze and here is what it looks like. Yeah.

A bit gruesome, but a heck of a lot better, yes?. The reason it looks like that is because he has been soaking it and keeping it wrapped up. The doctor said not to soak it anymore and now just place a band-aid on it.

Keith is a just a tad freaked out since he hasn't used it for a while. But that will change. My only question is: Should I trim the nail or leave it be for now?

But I'm happy because he will be spending the next 2 days with us. It's his Spring Break this week. Yay!
